Just spent about an hour browsing all 10 posts. Very nice indeed! A fitting tribute and nice that his collection is getting a well deserved airing. Well done you!

I suspect the Brazilian 125 above is actually at Hatfield open day (July 74) rather than Hawarden. This was the same weekend as Greenham that year.

lumix - thank you.

I had seen that 125 at Hawarden's open day which is why I put 2 and 2 together. But it makes sense as there are some obvious Hatfield ones in the collection but nothing else from Hawarden :D

Thanks to everyone else for the comments, on to part 3 then

'Best of the Rest'??? More like 'Best of the Best'! Loved these last 2 threads of shots from the UK - KC-97 is a cracker

Really enjoying these and look forward to Part 3 (and of course 4, 5, 6, 7 etc)

Thanks for taking the time to post

Very interesting.

I sat in that RN Phantom at Leuchars many moons ago!

Great memories

Amazing shots.

Having come back to spotting full on in 2014 I could cry at what I missed during a very long sabbatical
:(
