Not factually correct. The pilots at the time have now either retrained on to another platform or left the services; for those who did fly the Harrier would have serious skill fade over the last 5 years. As for retraining, that would have to be state-side in the first instance and as for timescale, how long is a peice of string. You would have to set up an OCU type team to retrain the trainer, then stream pilots out of basic flight school, etc, etc. First operational pilots wouldn't be seen frontline for several years.jag636 wrote:we already know how to use them and it wouldn't take as long to retrain
