Interesting photos, don't wish to sound picky but the Super Mirage 4000 made it's first flight in 1979!

I suspect this was taken at either the 1980 or 1982 air show, as it was there both years (it's certainly not '74)- the Falcon 50 F-BNDB was either '80 or '82 too, I'm not sure when, or where, the photo of the Wasp was taken though - XT424 was written-off in June 1975.

Great shots, do you have any more? :)

I do indeed remember the smiley Tristar. I managed to blag trade day tickets for that show, got some pics meself somewhere. Was that the year of the YC-14 & 15 ? YF-17 ?
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

The missile on the Wasp is an SS-11 - there was a Scout at Greenham in 1980 with TWO on each side.
Nice set of pics - just what the nostalgia forum is for.

Think that was 1976 for the YC14/YC15/YF17...1974 had the SR71 after it's New York-London speed record flight (1hr 55 Mins)
