The classic Habu shot at the Smith :thumb:
Did you struggle with hand-held shots in there at all?

I know the feeling! Bit of a pain to carry one around, but if i go back, it'll be with a tripod. Same goes for the NMUSAF, which is even worse for lighting

Hmmm, interesting
Recall seeing a couple of tripods being used at NMUSAF. Would have to check if going back.

Used a tripod at the USAF museum at Dayton last year with no problem at all.

Well apart from using a who,e day taking long exposure pics and not getting everything. Lol

Oh and the school trips in the morning, which then go home at lunch time making the place perfect for pics.

Not trying to be clever but has light got worse than in 2008. Taken with my first digital camera hand held. ImageEast Coast Bash 5-'08c 376

Sure, interesting to compare, this shot was taken at 1/8 Sec ISO200 and could still do with being brighter (my same SR-71 shot as above was at 1/6 Sec)...

Lovely shot Cooper1812. I found it a difficult place to take pictures.

Hi
I spent two weeks at the NMUSAF this year and there was no problem using a tripod, I used one most days

Cheers John.

May be they had prior approval.
