Spent a wonderful afternoon commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain at North Weald.
The formation of two Hurricanes and a Spitfire did one flypast. With the Spitfire then breaking off to do a wonderful low pass that went into a victory roll. He then landed for us all to take some close up photos and the opportunity to watch him start it up and taxi to the hangar.

This is one of the remaining E-pens which would have sheltered the Hurricanes between sorties.

And the remnants of splinter marks on one of the hangars.

Hope you enjoy the photos. A good day all round commemorating a crucial time in our country's history.
