Managed to catch the 4 Spitfires flying to commemorate 75 years since Germany launch an offensive to destroy the RAF

Lee,

Which part of Donny did you see them fly over and what time of day was it?

Regards,

Tony.

Not wishing to be picky (and they are good pics) it was Blue Flight but not BBMF. These were 4 civvy birds and for the record the planes and pilots were:
Blue 1 "SM845" Ian Smith
Blue 2 "SM520" Matt Jones
Blue 3 "EP120" Stu Goldspink
Blue 4 "TD248" Cliff Spink

Tony it was 16:46 and there went over the 20 end of Finningley (Doncaster Sheffield) airport and turned left to follow the A619 north. I think they turned left near the round about intersected by the A619 and the B1396.

350biker yep not BBMF quite correct. Thanks for the pilot and aircraft details.

Lee.

EP120 was flown by Carl Schofield.

OK thanks for that Kieron, I was going by the official event brochure. My photos would appear to confirm that Stu Goldspink and Carl Schofield did appear to "swap" aircraft against the brochure allocation.
