Brilliant images. No3 almost has an air-to-air look about it. I wondered what was making the noise yesterday

Great set of images,
Love the Sea Vixen, remember seeing them on overshoot to RAF Binbrook in the 70s.

Great display aircraft.

Great images...I was there too...fantastic two displays, in perfect weather, considering how the morning was!

Fantastic    , I still haven't managed to see her in the air :@ . Now can someone tell me why the Vixen isn't a complpex aircraft (CAA :grr: definition) but the lightning is?

Great photos of a beautiful aircraft.

I really like No.8 - reminiscent of a pass, down the live side of a carrier, in the Med or Far East, in the late sixties.

Also the last photo (No.13) is simply timeless !

Thanks for sharing

Many thanks for the really positive feedback.

The Vixen display was really great to watch from Pyle Lane on the south side of the runway and certainly in very close proximity to many of the low passes. Those going to Air Day on a week Saturday, keep your cameras ready for the high speed run in from the East as on both occasions yesterday it was developing lots of vapour off the upper surfaces as it pulls out of the shallow dive.

Many thanks
