William Tell Exercise 70's en 80's

Post by 32FIS » Thu Jun 04, 2015 3:38 pm

William Tell Exercise Tyndal AFB, Fla.

In the late 70’s and in the 80’s I have visited several William Tell Air Defense exercises. Besides the units involved in the exercise, Tyndall AFB was also visited by many interesting transient a/c. Hereby a selection of scans of aircraft photographed during my visits. I hope you enjoy them.

Superb shots of superb aircraft. Now that's what I call a worthwhile post. Such fond memories.

I don't think I've ever seen a thread on here where every single photograph is worthy of a mention, however the Vermont B-57's just edge it for me :thumb:
