Some Kodachrome Canberras at RAF Wyton in 1987. 100 squadron I think. Comments appreciated.

Lovely captures of the day
Great aircraft to refuel, especially you weren't concentrating... :'(
Critically observing Pension regulatory activity... :D

Lovely photos capturing the colours well.
I miss seeing the rows of Bloodhounds and scattered Canberras while passing on the A141.

Yes indeed 100 sq. Checkerboard + Skull /Crossed bones. Excellent memories of these magic old aircraft.
Wyton always had a very strict security policy due to the nature of its operations yet when opportunity came along they made great days for photographers.
Thanks very much for posting

A great post real nostalgia.
Wyton and 100 Squadron what more do you need.

For saying they were so close we never used to see a lot of Wyton aircraft on the south side of Peterborough. If we did see anything it was the Canberras with the yellow and black undersides.

Thanks for posting :-)

I wish I'd had the ability to take photos of those times. I've never seen any photos of aircraft low flying across the brick pits. If anyone does know of any please let me know!
