This was on the way to fly over London for a 11/11Remembrance flypast. We were chugging along in a Chinook (freezing cold with the doors open!) and the sun briefly came-out as we headed up towards Dartford (visible in the background):-

Close view of a fat ol' Tristar up near Newcastle. That bizarre "interim" colour scheme with the lovely old white paint and blue cheat line, but low-viz roundels. Dark Grey is nice but not as nice as they used to be! :-

This is over the North Sea near Southwold during a rehearsal for a flypast for Her Maj's birthday. Marham's Batman formation had already sorted themselves out into a tidy group so we didn't have to help them with our "whip" Hawk - just grab a picture!:-

Couple of Harrier shots - first one rather older than the second, a trio of "real" Harriers over from Germany to top-up their tanks:-

Second shot is of slightly later-generation machines, the GR5 pictured shortly after entering service. Wittering kindly put-up a formation for a bunch of us to snap from the back of a Hercules:-

And finally for this batch, a shot from good ol' St.Mawgan shortly before closure. The SAR guys set this up for me - we went out off the end of the runway, got the door open, and waited for our friends in the other Sea King to fly up towards us. The guys in the tower helped-out by switching the runway lights in our direction! Not the best of photos but it was dark and Sea Kings rattle like old trucks!:-

Hope you like 'em - more if you want more!
