bits and bobs from different shows here in west Cornwall.
first of went to what was called a "Fly in" one Sunday afternoon at St Just (lands end)air field in about 1988
thought it would only be load of civi types but there were the odd war bird types there to
think this little chippy was one of the fist to go on the civi register? as the type was still being used by the
services(at the time the RAF, ACC and RN were still using them
)hence the Bar in the middle of its register!
the Culdrose glider clubs old tug! Prince charles did his first solo in it, and was painted red like all Royal flight types were!
PT-22 and PT-23
then on on the Culdrose.
one or two for now!! pick of the bunch.
as well as regular CAF F-18s thay would allso bring other more interesting types!
don't know why, but at the time i never took main photos of the 705sqn Gazelles!! thought thay would be with us for ever i guess!
