What was your mount for the Mig family A2A?

A Jaguar IB. The mixed formation was part of the same air to air session as the single MiG-25R.

Fantastic shots. The Foxbats look pretty battered, to me at least for a mach 3 capable aircraft. Any experts on here know what kind of effect that would have on generating hotspots or similar at high speed flight?

As far as I know, the paint has no "heat shielding" properties, but has to be able to withstand high temperatures of around 300 degrees.

Compared to other IAF aircraft I photographed during my IAF visit, these MiG-25 are in near "pristine" condition!

As I already had a glimpse of the pictures at your Flickr page I only can say, that including the great explanation and story's of making the pictures, these pictures are among the best of the best I have ever seen on any forum or site.

Not being able to have an accompanying "story" on flickr is a real disadvantage and I may make my own website instead of having a flickr pro account.

Stunning set of some amazing aircraft and great to see the ground and aircrews going about their daily work as well.

I think showing the people does make it possible to tell the story.
