Silver Jubilee Review of the RAF 1977.(Photo Heavy.)

What a great set and as said above, the aircraft are spotless, even the Lightnings.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

Nice to see coloured ones - I was still in my monochrome period then

Absolutely Epic!!.....As some say save the best until last!!....Totally love the aussie F111s
Re: Silver Jubilee Review of the RAF 1977.(Photo Heavy.)
These are the best pics of the event that I've ever seen. Begs the question - how did you manage to achieve digital quality shots in the pre-digital age? That shot of the torching F-111 is just unbelievable!

What a delight to see all these interesting aircraft. Thank you very much for once-again a superb selection of images from a colourful time almost 50 years ago.
Re: Silver Jubilee Review of the RAF 1977.(Photo Heavy.)
I still only had a 135mm lens as my telephoto lens then so my pics from then are nowhere near the clarity of these. It was also still during my monochrome period, although there seemed to be some colour film left in it from work.
I don't like taking over others' posts so I'll just post a link to the album

I was there, aged 3. My earliest memory is peeing down my dads back (sat on his shoulders) when the 'vark did that dump and burn.
I work with dead people.
