Bought Prints – More Neptunes

Post by eLaReF » Sat Sep 14, 2024 12:39 pm

I’m still scanning bought prints and/or discovering old scans

These were scanned a long time ago, on one of my HP printers that I sent back, so were small originals (900px wide) and full of scratches. Enlarging to my current practice of 3008 wide means the scratches and dots grow in like fashion!!

I still have to sort out the reserve Wing units

P.S. In case you haven't realised, I like Neptunes!!

Nice set of pictures, I was lucky to see a French one at Kinloss in the early 80's.

I like Neptunes too, so thanks for sharing these with us. Saw a few French and Dutch ones in service, as the RAF Museum are looking to dispose of the one at Cosford, hope it goes to a new home, where it will be appreciated.

very nice set thanks for posting
I think 140152 & 143173 are both at Blackbushe

143173 is now preserved with The Museum of Flight & Aerial Firefighting at Greybull WY
