Well not really, this only known ex Russian Spitfire dropped into Wellesbourne for a quick visit on 26.07.24.

Thanks for sharing this with us, looks good and makes a change to see a different scheme. The last time I saw it was years ago, when it had just arrived at Duxford and it was a crumpled wreck.

Glad to see that he's still about, I missed the Russian Spit the last time around. Like a one hit wonder, I never thought we'd see it again :thumb:
Where is this fighter based, is it still at North Weald?

Peter Teichman flew the plane in so it is probably still part of the hangar 11 collection at North Weald.

I remember the feature on this fighter a few years back in Flypast.
