Nice shots, thanks for sharing. The F4 in particular looks great! And that's an awful lot of rivets on display on that very small part of a Shackleton! :Wow:

Thank you very much for posting these pictures SonyShooter1955. During my last visit to Scotland I arrived at the museum just at closingtime so I only made some photos through the fence. But your post reminds me I must go there next time I will be in Scotland again.

That's a neat collection there, worth stopping just for the 2 Sqn Jag :thumb:

Well done, a cracking set of photo's and Morayvia looks to be well worth a visit. Could I possibly trouble you for the serial numbers of the following please:

1, 2 squadron jaguar
2. Jet provost fuselage section red/white
3. jet provost needing a paint job
4. Vampire/Venom!!

The Jaguar is XZ113.
The JP in need of a paint job is XP557, which came from Tinwald Downs.
The Vampire is ex Swiss J-1172, which is on loan from the RAF Museum. As I understand the terms of the loan is that it should be kept under cover.
Can't help with the other JP though. Might be XM402?

Red and white JP is XM402 - magnified image shows serial just visible on rear fuselage.
