Spoke to velor helicopters in Tuscon this week, they've taken down overflights of the boneyard as they were not always getting permission to over fly. They can do Pinal and then ask for approval to overtly DM but it will be an extra $300 plus $75 if want door off

Farrari When we used to go to the states we always look into the FBO notice board ,same as any café .
At Tucson we saw an add for flights and gave a call, the guy had a Cessna 21o ,high wing with the window open, DM was great .We also did the Old Tucson film set and the Biosphere an hour long for £100 (it was 2 dollars to the pound then) Also at a café at Port Alberni/Sprout Lake hired a boat to see the two Martin Mars the owner took us all round the lake to see the fantastic houses and some very old rock paintings Hope you have a great time .

It's was all OK in October for DM overflights from Ryan Field. Has the situation changed since then?

Great set of shots.

I went in 2000 and 2008, where there was a notable change in the inmates of AMARC/G, seeing B-1s, B-52Hs and C-5s starting to enter the boneyard. The bus tours and cruising the fence line in the late evenings will always stick in my memories, watching where you were walking in case of 'Rattlers'.

Can't remember if it was Mil-Spotters or the AMARC FB page but even the Helicopter operator has stopped doing flights because of the high rate of cancellations of clearances.
You can still fly around the edge or above I think 5,000ft but that's not what we want.
