Hi Paul, I have similar images of 10726 taken on that Bank Holiday weekend in Aug 79, alas some of my slides from that time have seen better days. We had travelled down to the Hall from Blackpool via Waddington who were hosting A7Ds from South Dakota & Iowa ANG units. I remember us all being at the fence when that beast fired up with the cartridge start up , a sight to behold smoke everywhere ! I'm sure one of my old mates took some Cini footage. Also that Sunday remembered for having a serious hangover after a wild night in the Judes Ferry after their Bank Holiday BBQ night. Looking at my logs I have 10728 at the Hall on 01/07/78. Again we had travelled down from Blackpool to the Hall via RAF Halton for one of their open days they used to have , plus god knows how many other airfields for the civvie bashers in our mob. Thanks for stirring an old memory.. Cheers Paul.

You are most welcome , glad to jog a few grey cells..back in the day when there was plenty to see a lot of the time not knowing what you might see all part of the fun . As for the Judes Ferry still have nightmares about that place on show weekends !!!!!

Happy days , long gone
