I agree, a real scorcher from memory. It helped having the campsite in the old bomb dump at the Eastern End so you could sit and have a cold beer and photograph stuff on approach. Happy days!

Happy days indeed, that camp site and the atmosphere on it (an atmosphere that carried on long into the night) was just the best :)

Just browsing some old threads and noticed these pics. If I remember it was really, really hot that day and cold drinks were selling for a mint. I was so excited as a youngster to finally see an SR71, great memories , thanks for sharing.

The cold drinks I remember were in a metal bath and I think they were going for a £1.Awesome show as always.
