Req; USA East Coast

Post by GoldenPlane » Sat Feb 15, 2020 5:38 pm

Hi guys!

A friend and I will again heading out for the United States by the end of April. But this time at the East Coast. So I have a few questions. The travel dates are 29th april till the 9th pf may and roughly we will visit the following states;

- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- Maryland
- Delaware
- Virginia
- North Carolina
- South Carolina

As we will arrive around 15:30LT at Washington on the 29th of April, we consider a few things... Hitting some numbers at Ronald Reagen ( USCG C-37’s & MH-65), Richmond Intl (some USAR helo’s but tricky with the backlit?) and Chesterfield (a pair of Detachment helo’s?) or spend a few hours at Andrews.

As we will visit the MCAS Cherry Point airshow in the weekend, should anything could be seen at regional airports in the neighboorhood?

Is anyone familiar with getting some base tours? (USAF, USAR, USN, USMC or USCG)

Anyone with further tips for the East Coast? Or ‘must seen’ things?

Thanks in advance!
