I was at North Las Vegas airport in March and didn't see any signs of any US Army helos.

I thought the Lakotas of the Nevada ARNG (3-140th Avn Co, D Company, Detachment 1) were based at Stead Airport, outside Reno?

Ref Scramble ORBAT

Las Vagas has the UH-72's (3-140th AVN)
Stead has UH-60's (1-168th AVN) and CH-47's (1-189th AVN)

But we all know things can change

There are 6 UH-72's based there , afaik they don't usually drag them out of the hangar unless they are intending to fly so hit and miss as to if you'll see them , but it is quite common to get visiting hell's and aircraft lunch and night stopping at NLV . Their hangar is off Cheyenne Ave .

It is Nevada Army National Guard Det 1 B & D Co 3/140th AVN “Semper Vigilans” Always Vigilant
