Happy new year all and a request.Im doing my first ever Red Flag in March 2017 and have been told of a couple of spotting locations..Whats the Best locations though,co ords appreciated if possible

I usually park at one of the entrances to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (around entrance 3 or so). As long as you stay on that side of Las Vegas Blvd, you won't get harassed by the police or security forces.

the aircraft will depart to the North (taking off to your left and heading away from downtown Las Vegas) and will usually return to land in a south flow. Any aircraft using the runway closest to the speedway will break and turn right in front of you

This area is by far my favorite area. You can also go further up Las Vegas Blvd (towards entrance 5 and 6 (and beyond)) and get them making the Flex turn
