Ex Sentry at SAV
Ex Sentry at SAV
Bit of a long shot but..
Friend did a monster Orlando-Savannah day trip for the Philippines AF G280 at Gulfstream. To his surprise he found Exercise Sentry in progress. Lots of F.22, T.38 etc.
Has anyone seen a list/know where to find a list of participants?
Mike

Yes, we were there 28/29th, but no time to post list yet.
Should be home next Sunday.
There were 14 F-22s (FF but one still TY), 8 WI F-35, 8 F-16s (various tail codes) & 6 FF T-38s (plus 8 OH F-16s on 30/31st).

Ok. What date was he there?
I can provide a list of the 8 WI and 6 FF T38. As far as I know there were 14 FF F22s. I didn’t see any F18s. There were 9 OH F16s when I visited.

Re: Ex Sentry at SAV
We were there on 29th when there were indeed 13 Raptors on the ramp;
All coded FF except 012/TY, 016, 017, 020, 025, 026, 030, 032, 035, 036, 040, 041& 043. FF027 was in the hangar as the sun went down.
The WIs were (sorry I'm at WAW in transit, he'll have to work out the fiscals himself; 5696, 5697, 5699, 5706, 5725, 5.50, 5953 & 5955.
T-38s; 939, 574, 559, 923, 163 all black plus 204 special marks.
His F-18s one must assume are the assorted F-16s;
421/IN, 436/WA, 501/IN, 506/IN, 753/HO, 3225/SD - the very beautiful 2086/SD.
For completeness the GA ANG have two C-130Js, 5975 & 5980 in the hangar.
He didn't manage to ID the two Blackhawks (parked next to the Thresher) did he?
