Re: TLP 2019-1
25/2 an Italian E550/G550 arrived mm62293 14-11 arrived Monday afternoon
Outside the rework area Maestransa hornet coded 46-20 could be seen from the road ( thanks to a another Spotter)
Also a red and white H225 / Super puma? Was doing engine runs outside the airbus factory. I was told it was Ukraine Air force but it had gone inside by the time I went to look at it properly but I could see some Yellow and blue on the tail from my angle.

Probably - I can't sign into Flickr on my new phone at the moment
Massive thanks to Phil for help with several numbers ( Ukraine H225s) over Monday and Tuesday especially hornet code 46-20 which is probably slack but was one of my last few and also for C.16-76 in the shelter near the road end , ( I did try to read it myself when the sun came around on Tuesday but the Garda Civil were moving cars from the dirt area)

Re: TLP 2019-1
Good afternoon,
I see the next flying phase, starts on 27th May. I have been to Albacete before but only inside for the Tiger Meet. My question is what is it like to spot from outside on the approach. Any issue from the local police etc.
I am thinking of going for a couple of days and get some sun.
Cheers
Rob

Re: TLP 2019-1
Spotting / photography is no problem from the track adjacent to the main road at the west end (airbus factory end). Pull on to the track from the CM-3203 off the roundabout at the end of the runway that also leads into the terminal where you can use the toilets and buy drinks and snacks.
The map on Scramble airfields will show you in more detail - spot 4 on the map
There is an airfield guide link here https://www.scramble.nl/tlp
Worth saying that the hotel I use is near spot 1 on the above map but usually departing aircraft are too high ( except tornados and M2000D) for photos but it depends on what you like
