Two weeks in the sun for this years holiday on the lovely island of Crete produced the following

Arrived to see the US ramp full

KC-135R – 60-0356 (ANG), 62-3523 (AMC)
E-3G – 75-0556/OK, 78-0578/OK
6x MC-130J & 2x AC-130J (All had their serials covered over, The ACs MAY have been the pair that went through Mildenhall 24/09)

P-8A- 169323 (Incorrect serial? I believe this is really 169338)
All the above were detached, The MCs flew every couple of days in either pairs or 3 ship with a KC46 support

Strange Puma/AS532 seen. Two tone brown camo with a square national insignia in blue with a white cross (+)

Fri 18/10

Parked in probably the most awkward place on the airfield were the following Greek Army helos
4X CH-47 - E∑-915 E∑-922 +2
2X AH-64
2X OH-58
Plus
2X SH-60 Greek N
I was watching the beach landings taking place across the bay at Malame airdrome so decided to take a look. Arriving just as they were packing up for the day!!
Preserved on the airfield are
F-5A, F-84F, RF-84F, F-104G & T-33 (IDs from EMOOS)
On board the ships a few hundred yards offshore were
SH-60 aboard Saudi ship Al Diriyah and AB412 aboard Hellenic ship Kountouriotis

Sat 19/10

All in all came away with a nice few numbers and a cracking tan

Nice log, did you see much of the wife whilst on holiday? Interested in the Brown/Sand Puma?

The two OH-58s were ES562 & ES912 and one of the S70/SH-60 was HN-57

Sure does, hoping to book flights for next year in the next week or so, need something to look forward to over the Winter months.
