It was opposite 020 where you looked down from the viewing enclosure towards the RAFALE Line. It was replaced by 024 two-seater in the afternoon. It was outside for quite some-time before midday,slogen51 wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 9:52 amJust going through my bits of paper and I don't have 004 logged either and I need it!Kevin Brewer wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 3:26 pmI logged 004 as either parked or being towed in the far side shelter area (opposite the enclosure). I can't recall which I'm afraid.

Did anyone manage to read anything off from the stored/dumped A-7s on the far side?

Just checked my photos and 004 is plain as day directly opposite the viewing enclosure. As you say it was replaced by 024 and I must have had a brain fart and thought it was 024 all the time - I thought it was odd why 024 was towed away to the left and then put back in the same place!

Finally as mentioned above an F-104 on a pole and an F-84 could be seen ( down towards where the Portuguese were) but also nearby was an A-7 that looked like it may once have had a special scheme with now faded alternate light and dark shaded bands horizontally across the tail - maybe once a tiger tail? also appears to have crossed swords on the black fin tip
The A-7 tail on opposite the viewing area by a building looked to me like it ended in 26
