At 11.15z DUKE 51 with AV appr 129.300 req a ILS appr runway 05 fullstop

Many F16s up? Is Aviano a busy base with its resident squadrons? Always wanted to visit, was very close there once sadly it was a Sunday!!

I've been once Gareth, wasn't massively busy but guess it depends on how many jets are deployed, etc.

Thanks yeah they deploy quite often, think a few jets are at Incirlik for ops against the bogey man!

Only a few mission during the morning.
After midday various mission over North Adriatic Sea with QUID 74 for AAR training.
510thFS is one of the participants of the first RED FLAG (16-01) of this year at Nellis AFB (scheduled 25 JAN-12 FEB).
