They may be participating in the official flypast but that could easily be done flying from Israel, I would be very surprised, in-fact dumbfounded if they deploy to Andravida due to the current situation in country.

For the first spotters day on the 10th I have only received a short note :-

Good morning,

You are registered for the 10th of April. The Unit will contact you for further information and payment procedures.

Best Regards,

Not yet heard from Andravida for payment instructions etc

It appears they have disappeared off the official participants altogether as of yesterday!......

Paid the 20 Euros on my Barclays app, the app doesn't generate a receipt - used the same method last year and it wasn't a problem as they just ticked your name off a list but if you get a receipt from your payment method then I guess you should take a copy of it as directed in the email from the HAF

Payee name can be anything you want, as long as you’ve got the correct IBAN/SWIFT details there shouldn’t be any issues.

I just put Iniochos - i don't think it matters, not entirely sure why but the Barclays app picked up the bank details from the IBAN and let me process the payment - again I think I had this issue last year

With Barclays you select the country [Greece]
Type in 20 euros - Barclays does the exchange and fees ( none)
Paste in the IBAN - it finds the bank of Greece etc

Make up a payment reference for you to see e.g 'Iniochos 24'
Make up a Recipient reference for the HAF to see e.g your name

I will know more if and when the payment clears?

By the way I don't get a receipt so have nothing to email to the HAF but it didn't seem to matter last year - you queue up with yourself passport and they tick you off

I couldn't get the payment to go through yesterday evening using my Barclays app. However it went through first time today using my Barclays online account, and appears to have cleared more or less straight away. It including the option to print a receipt, which I have emailed to them (and have printed a copy to take with me).

See you over there!

PS - I am contact with the Hellenic Air Force museum at Tatoi about the possibility of a visit on Thursday 11th April. The museum is normally only open at weekends, unless group visits are arranged in advance. They referred me to the Air Force Central Command for permission to visit, who referred me back to the museum to ask them for permission! I will post on here if I get it resolved.

I have had confirmation today by email that the Museum will be open weekdays 0900-1300. Entry is free but you will need to show your passport at the entrance. They have quite a large collection of aircraft.

Word of warning to anyone going to the museum. Although the museum exhibits are there to be photographed, be careful of turning the camera on any of the based flying a/c (Tecnams, T-41?, PZL Dromaders), security take a dim view of this.
