Great pics there :thumb:

I am so old, I know what 'BALTOP' means :(

Back in the day, when you wrote a letter (no, don't laugh) to your latest girlfriend, you always ended it with:
Better
On
Lips
Than
On
Paper

God, I must be a real old frat

Thanks for posting

Paddyboy

operation = going bombing someone

exercise = practicing to go and bomb someone

might need to retitle this!

Am begining to like the KC-135 more and more Paul.

Bolleaux Andyph. Take operation Granby for example, it wasn't so much the actual bombing but the work up, preparation and implementation combined and I doubt the transport and re-fuelling aircraft taking part in Exercise Baltop will be dropping many bombs. Agreed the title needs changing but a comment on the pics first would have made the following nit-picking comments more tolerable.

Mods/Admin, apologies for taking this off topic slightly but this sort of comment is what's wrong with FC at the moment. I implore members not to comment further on this issue.

I was just being factual - certainly not negative
Of course not all missions on a real world operation are to drop bombs but I was just trying to show the difference between operations and exercises.
I'll leave the nit picking for other people!

No Andyph - it's me who should apologise. It just seems to me that when a chap takes time to post some pics it should be those pics that form the basis for comment.

It's the 42nd annual multinational naval exercise, Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2014 hence the confusion between exercise and operation. We could just call it BALTOPS 2014?
