B2 arrival at Fairford from the Western 09 Loop end.

Along with many hundreds of others, I made the short hop to Fairford to see Louisiana and Indiana arrive. I gambled massively and headed to the western end 09 area which was somewhat quieter then the 27 threshold!

They say you have to make the best of a bad job, and thanks to Death 11's gear issues, we were treated to some unexpected flybys and topsides in sun

Lovely shots - I'd say you had the best location for variety of shots and proximity to the aircraft - fantastic.

Great result and choice of viewpoint. Excellent coverage, you look like you have them to yourself, don't think I've ever seen any B2 taxi shots without vehicles in trail. Thanks very much for posting

The elusive topside shots, great to catch on a B-2

The thing can look magical in the air, but then those close-up taxy shots are awesome as well
