Spent the day at coningsby today, Got soaked :( And the shots are quite frankly rubbish. But here they are anyway

Ooh, GR4 burner shots... definitely warms you up on a cold, wet January day! :P

One criticism I have however is that many of the Typhoon shots could do with levelling, to take away the fencing and also make the image stand out more. :)

Can't beat a "Stonka of a Tonka" with both candles lit.
The grey day adds atmosphere and the burners look great through it.
UK ONS CPI Rate checker for Sept every year... :whistle:

Orwell 27 were you down at the fence at the Dogdyke end when the Tornado and pair of Typhoons came back?

Hi Tim,
I was up at 25 end at that time parked up in the layby on the side of the b1192, arrived at Coningsby around 12:15 had some chips by the mound, the base looked almost deserted, then drove up to 25 end and left around 3:00 just after the Tornado and the pair of Typhoons landed, they launched, along with another single Typhoon early afternoon, that was pretty much it.
Shame as i dont get there very often.
