HHA @ Newquay 29/05/2013

Struggled with heat haze at Newquay today but managed to salvage a few images.

Paddyboy its a seeker head for the missile systems the hunter "replicates" when out attacking her majesty's ships!!
lovey photos. and so much easier to photograph movements at newquay now access is so much easier

Closer to where the ships are than Scampton, I'd imagine!

Yeah i know that lol!! but thought they use Yeovilton for those sort of exercises

Believe Yeoviltons main runway is closed for the next month so guess that's the reason for using Newquay.

It would seem that its the main reason this time.
But they have deployed from newquay before,and even from culdrose!
Must be something to do with endurance,distance to target and maybe crew availability??
