Nice ones Ryan, saw the OC-135B over my house.

Combat Spear is a great catch!

But what is that Anson(?) doing there.

The Anson was visiting in conjunction with the displaying F-16 at Duxford. Ryan, in the last image, the open doors are the GTC or Gas Turbine Compressor doors. If you look at the RAF K model Hercs, these have the same doors. The doors open before the GTC is started and once started the ATM Generator will be started using air tapped off from the GTC in order to provide electrical power on the ground. Nice to see you and your dad today.

Some great shots there, but C-17A is the pick of the bunch for me,lovely contrast with the clouds.
Its a pity the other Hercs didn't taxi on down to the end of the runway like the last. :thumb:

If he does'nt listen to you Chris, threaten to set the dog on him lol.

Forgot to mention that the doors will only open on the ground. A weight on wheels switch prevents them from opening in the air.
