Hello All,
Heard a Blackhawk circling Sculthorpe this evening knew something was going on so off I went to have a look. Sorry about the quality as I was too far away really....

6 Getting his score
7 Squeaked this in close too
Certainly worth going up to see these guys shame I couldn't get closer though.
Thanks for looking
Matt

Thanks for an interesting and fast post. Would like to have seen that.
Looks like one of the guys was lucky there were no bulls in the field!

Hi,Mario Balotelli wrote:Great stuff. I was near Sculthorpe a couple of months ago and there were a couple of USAF Hercs flying around, definitely touch & goes or flying low over the airfield anyway.
Is it still used much? Seems a waste of a long (heated?) runway if not! Then again...
Love the hare photo too!
Sculthorpe is used almost nightly the 352SOG mostly for para drops then occasionly for landings. If your near and have a scanner the freq is 372.275 for the guys on the ground to relay winds etc to TALON/SHADOW. This is the first time I have seen paras out of a Blackhawk up there also I have never seen one on the ground either.
Thanks for the comments so far.
