How times have changed!

I remember a photo in a monthly magazine of some spotters at a German Navy event back in the 80s or early 90s , could have been at Schleswig- jagel or was it Eggebeck?

It was basically a long line of spotters with various types of telescopes - some brass (Broadhurst) , some heutal reuz ??( can't remember spelling) or that ubiquitous thin black pole - that also I can't remember the name of.

Slogen, I believe the thin black pole to which you refer may well have been the Hilkinson Pancratic. I still have one somewhere.
