Incoming - The final fitters

Post by Pauld339 » Sat May 24, 2025 6:50 am

I have just returned from three amazing days on base at Miroslaveic Air Base Poland, current home of the final Fitters. I have 7,500 images to sort through which may take some time. But just to whet your appetite:

Nice shot, look forward to seeing more and if you got lots, spread them out over the next few months. It will give us plenty of time to enjoy them if we all get snowed in. But this is going to be another sadly missed type.

It is a lovely shot of an awesome machine.
7,500 in three days is really going some!
Just imagine the good old days with a few rolls of films...

I actually miscounted. 7500 is the total number of jpegs and raw files, so “only” 3,750 ish pics to go through. Still 100 rolls of film in old money which is rather mind blowing.

Yes, a great shot of a great machine and in a great colour scheme!
