Hi all, Hurrah, Lightning Force is back! After a quite long break since the last ex, 6x AAC AH64E are back in the Northern wilderness to utilise all Spadeadam has to offer. Massive shout out to the crews involved yesterday, outstanding flying!
Weather quite pleasant but changeable (when isn't it!), cheers to Dylan for the good company!

Many years ago, it was quite common to hear foreign voices call up to enter the range, these days it's rarer than rocking horse deposits.....
So, imagine our excitement and surprise when FATIH 41/42 called up! 2x TuAF F-16s ex Waddington as part of Ex Cobra Warrior. 45 Minutes playtime conducting simulated bombing runs with some quite entertaining ATC along the way.
it was like a blast from the past!
