A Morning at RAF Coningsby - 14.1.2025

Took the trip up to RAF Coningsby this week as I had a few spare hours, decided to set up at the 25 end of the airfield, with the intention to catch a few head on shots of the jets crossing onto the runway or coming down the taxiway! Overall a very enjoyable morning with 17 jets getting airborne including one Performance Take Off, I then nipped round to Crash Gate 1 to get a bit of panning in on the landing aircraft, but the backlighting was fairly harsh.

A few highlights included seeing a 3 Squadron marked jet flying with 29 Squadron, as well as a 1(F) Squadron marked jet flying with 3 Squadron!
