Cobra Warrior arrivals at Waddington

Post by wartimeartwork » Sun Sep 08, 2024 10:14 pm

A good day last week at RAF Waddington catching the support aircraft arrive for Cobra Warrior. The CC-130J and Learjet will probably be some of my highlights of the deployment! Finding a different spot to the crowds makes a difference too (for shots 2 and 3) :thumb:

I really like your touchdown shot, where did you get it from/did you need a step ladder for a clear view if I may ask?
If you leave everything to the last minute, it only takes a minute to do.

OP cannot respond to comments as he cannot access this forum, that’s why it was posted in the current military thread. Might be an idea to move it back for now.

Thanks! It was from the public footpath on the West side of Waddington just off a new estate. A step is advisable unless you're 7ft tall :P

No chain link - just a wooden fence about 6ft high.
