Really enjoyed seeing these. It would be nice if some (ideally, all) the special colour scheme aircraft could attend RIAT for the NATO/F16 celebrations. I'm dreading just seeing and photographing grey aircraft against our perpetual grey skies this summer! Thank you for posting.

I read a lot of negative comments on social media about these spotterdays. You proof they were wrong.

I read a lot of negative comments on social media about these spotterdays. You proof they were wrong.

The spotters days were well organised and entry was easy and efficiently done. However photographically it was a challenge as the crowd line wasn't long enough for the number of 'spotters'. On the first one there was no control of the ladders and very little taxied past the enclosure. It was better on the second one, the ladders were controlled and pushed back and virtually all the morning wave taxied past the enclosure. Chuck in some grim weather though, with little sun and I think it would have been easy to come away with very little.

Shots from outside were easily achieved, subject to the weather!

However I feel I did well and was happy with what I got.
