494FS Tabor 81-86 Lakenheath 10-05-2024

Some scratchy or sketchy crops of Tabor 81 - 86 the second and final cell of 6 494FS F-15E returning from the sandpit via Aviano

Unfortunately I had a camera malfunction the other day where one button became stuck down and unbeknownst to me had changed the picture quality from large (6400 x 4000) 24M to small 6M !!I only noticed after I started to process them here

They arrived at around 6PM which gave the sun time to go around and should have resulted in some half decent shots

Some super nose art and I especially enjoyed Mullet - Business in the front Party in the back

Red Tail Angel is already looking a bit smudged

The camera has had a few knocks in recent years - I fell over and landed on it in the States last year, I came off worst with bruised ribs. I should be glad it's still working as I don't particularly want to buy a replacement due to the cost of everything.

Purely for the record I may as well append the first cell Tabor 71 flight of six from Wednesday 8th May 2024 - Direct from Muwaffaq Salti

horribly into the Sun - the nose art of course is on one side of the aircraft and a midday 06 arrival in bright sunshine kills the pictures
