Planes Trains & Wildlife at Mildenhall

Post by AndyXYZ » Thu Sep 07, 2023 12:18 am

I had a good day at Mildenhall on Wednesday 6th Sept, there was a good bunch of togs and spotters there and even if it did get a little congested on the trailer, we all came away with some good shots  .

I caught a few nice ones, I'll post more when I have had another look through them, bed time now, its been a long day. . . . .

Thank you both, I'm humbled by your kind words.

It was a real "in the right place at the right time" moment that's for sure.

I have quite a few more photos to sort through from my little 3 day road trip. I'll add to this thread when I get round to it.

Thank you for looking

Does he mean to be rude?

Fantastic shots you have there and great that the crews acknowledge the spotters.

Thanks Ian, yes it was nice to see them giving us kudos and putting on a little show, it didn't half make my ears ring afterwards mind but glad I was there

I dont think he is trying to be rude, I've looked at it a few times today and have tried to mimic his hand gesture and it looks like he was showing the 🤘"sign of the horns" but the angle that I got the shot makes it look rude to us UK folks.

Remembering back a few years, I was talking to an American and he put up 2 fingers [V] and said back in 2 minutes, I did point out when he came back what that signified, he laughed and said we we a funny lot.
