Yes I know, Air Defender has been more than taken care fore on FC. Nonetheless I only just managed to finish my Jagel pictures. Imho the most rewarding and enjoyable trip I have done in the last couple of years. A small selection although I could have posted 200 pics just as easy.
Went to the eastern approach end early in the morning, this Herc came in and I realised this would be a difficult spot. With the grey skies I eventually went to the western approach as there wouldn't be any back-light this morning

This sight of this flightline was a real joy, especially when all the canopies opened and action was iminent.

in the 2nd week extra A-10's operated from Jagel, happy days.

South Dakota F-16's eluded me thus far, seen several of them on different occasions at March and Nellis, but never flying and only able to read of a couple. Sweet revenge.

In the beginning of the afternoon I headed for nearby Hohn, which proved to be just as much a flying feast and the possibilities at this base are just about perfect. I will most certainly post some of that later, but I still need to work through hundreds of pictures taken there.
In the beginning of the evening I went back to Jagel to witness the recovery of the evening mission. The skies cleared and the light became better and better.

A couple of nice visitors came in for next day's press event. This Swedish Gripen being the outsider

I only spent a morning and evening at Jagel but it absolutely delivered.
