Helos at Paris Invalides

Post by Bruno » Sat Jul 22, 2023 9:09 am

Hi,
Like each year, following the 14th July flyby over Paris, some helicopters land at the Invalides area in order that french people meet their armed forces.
You have to be patient until late afternoon to catch their departures. But if the weather plays well, you will have a sweet light like this year.

The first one was this Armée de l'Air Fennec with an unusual 20mm gun on the starboard

Then, another Fennec, but from the Army

As well, the Navy was there with this Dauphin

And with this NH90NFH

Another Caïman but from the Army

Sometimes, there is dramatic bank, like this one performed by a Tigre

Liked these a lot, especially the last one of the departing Tigre. Well done.

Great job Bruno and thanks for sharing! I didn't wait around for the departures this year, but good to see the quality of the departures was good again.
