The challenge was how to identify the location as Leeming, otherwise, could have been anywhere! Not sure the result is "obviously Leeming" though.

i think its like anywhere tbh, when you know, you know. I could tell it was Leeming. the well placed tractor makes the photo look quite period

The last one is a lovely picture, reminds me of the shot with the Lightning vertical going in with the guy watching on the tractor.

Can't argue with the Lightning being vertical in that shot, just a shame the nose is at the bottom end!
George Aird was the pilot about to use the 'silk umbrella' I believe.

Great minds....focusing on the tractor also took my mind back to the vertical Lightning - nothing quite as dramatic on this occasion, thankfully.
