Waited in glorious sunshine at Leeming for an on-time arrival of the C130s in line-astern :D

That last shot could easily make a jigsaw picture, very rural!!!!

The last one is a lovely picture, reminds me of the shot with the Lightning vertical going in with the guy watching on the tractor.

Can't argue with the Lightning being vertical in that shot, just a shame the nose is at the bottom end! :O ;)
George Aird was the pilot about to use the 'silk umbrella' I believe.

Great minds....focusing on the tractor also took my mind back to the vertical Lightning - nothing quite as dramatic on this occasion, thankfully. :roll:
