Having spent most of the day in the vicinity of Stansted, hoping to catch the departures of the Kuwaiti C-17, one of the UAE examples and Sunak heading off Stateside in A321NeoLR G-GBNI, I succeeded in two of those aims, but was unable to catch a UAE Globemaster as the first departure caught me off guard, and I couldn't hang around for the second one's departure. This may have been my first trip to Stansted, but it won't be my last - I'll definitely try to catch some of the Arab regulars in the weeks and months ahead.

With the Kuwaiti L-100s now in storage, it's nice to this scheme still going strong - there is an air of nostalgia to see those cheatlines still flying.
