Hi all,

With the end of 2022 in sight, a look back at a year travelling to the frozen North of Norway for exercise Cold Response, to the searing temperatures at this years Royal International Air Tattoo and all weather in between.

Lets start with my local airport, Southampton, which has had some interesting visitor throughout the year, including a couple of C-130s.

Time to head North and to the minus 10 degrees and deep snow of Northern Norway for NATO exercise Cold Response. This was one of the largest and most important NATO exercises of 2022.

Wow, what a set, you've had a good year! Superb photography with some great light, colour and choice of types.

Crikey, that is an awesome collection of great photos and top drawer subjects. As a 'record shot' type photographer, I am in awe of your ability. It's impossible to pick a favourite, but that Orion is a bit special.

And it might not actually be true, but I can't help but think that Prestwick and Southampton are the most interesting (non) military airfields in the country.

Cracking set, still love the Harrier, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing these, a truly wonderful selection of shots. So much variety and it's difficult to choose a favourite amongst them all.

Great selection of shots but the stand out for me is the Norwegian P-3 - fantastic image.

What a super variety, you have certainly had an excellent year, the quality of the shots is outstanding, again the P3 is the stand out for me.

I have to agree that they do seem to have wide variety of visitors. Long may it continue.
