Fisheye Aviation

Evening all,

I've shared some of these before, some fairly recently, some probably over 10 years ago.

I bought a Sigma 8mm fisheye many years ago, purely for this one shot inside the American Air Museum at Duxford.

My plan was to return it, once back from Duxford but I decided to keep it.

And I'm glad I did - something a little different to the norm, appreciate it won't be everyone's cuppa.

In no particular order:

A nice selection & it's pleasing to see that we made it into the first selection there with several museum aircraft being featured!

Wow, now that is different, superb post, love it, thanks for sharing.
Were some of those images taken from ground level Mike?

Pune,

Not quite, the majority were taken from a crouching position, being on the ground level has too much sky haha - it's almost got 180 degree field of view.

Nice set, appreciate seeing something a little different.

The F-22 & E-3D shots stand out to me.
I'd like to see them cropped to a square/ish ratio without the fisheye vignette, would be quite a cool effect!

Also like your photo of Jordans? civic in your avatar too, that's going back abit!
