Swedish Sabreliner

Post by Zonan » Tue Jun 21, 2022 9:52 am

This morning Eindhoven was visited by a surpising aircraft: The Rockwell Sabreliner TP86 of the Swedish Air Force, pretty rarely seen outside Sweden.

Very nice to see this shot. The type is a rare sight these days in Europe. I just wish they would send it to RIAT. I know it's been to Northolt for one of their evening photoshoots. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

WOW, one of my all time favourite biz-jets!
I think this must be one of the very few airworthy Sabreliners, certainly one of (if not) the last in Europe!
A great catch of a great old 1960's bird and thanks for sharing it
Best regards, Terry

They have two, mate - 86001 and 86002. The latter is, or was, kitted out with lots of ECM stuff ;)

Great shot of what must be one of the rarest aircraft flying in Europe.
