RAF Lakenheath 14 June 2022

Post by Binbrook123 » Wed Jun 15, 2022 5:25 pm

A few from the forest entrance yesterday starting with the very early C5M arrival. After a latish start there was a steady stream of departures and recoveries, including F15E 97-0222 devoid of conformal and wing tanks, SJ coded F15E 89-0505 and a crop of the standard configured Eagles. Four F35A's joined the party with numerous missed approaches and circuits. As usual there was plenty of haze to blight a lot of the images but all in all a good day. Comments and criticism's welcome.

Great set of photos those! We were there that morning for about an hour too, but near the car park area. Only saw two F-35s take off, but plenty of F-15s including that SJ bird. How come that’s there?

That E with out conformal tanks is practically indecent.
